Position Summary

As a Senior Brand Manager, you will be at the center for some of the biggest decisions we make. The Senior Brand Manager – Marketing, Oscar Mayer Cold Cuts will be responsible for:

  1. Delivering an annual and long-term brand strategy and financial operating plan specifically for Oscar Mayer Cold Cuts – informed by a deep understanding of the consumer, customer and category dynamics.
  2. Coaching and developing 2 direct reports.

This position is best suited for someone who is entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity, has a strong bias for action, and excellent communication skills.

Key Components of the Role

  1. Bring growth mindset to the development and delivery of both annual and long-term brand strategy and financial operating plan.
  2. Leverage consumption & business analytics (equity, share, volume, etc) to inform action plans that drive key business targets including share and margin enhancement.
  3. Lead cross-functional team that includes finance, sales, R&D, operations, shopper marketing / communications, and consumer insights.
  4. Oversee tactical execution of budget, demand forecasting, sales/category stories, and various commercialization efforts for portfolio.
  5. Manage senior leader discussions with platform general manager and business unit President.
  6. Coach, develop and motivate team of 2 direct reports.

Qualifications

  1. 5+ years’ experience in marketing for an established or startup CPG company.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field required, MBA preferred.
  3. Operates with a sense of urgency.
  4. Strategic leadership and drive for results.
  5. Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Experience in cross-functional team management.
  7. Ability to handle simultaneous projects and deliver on timelines.
