Description & Requirements
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Lead - Video Engineering to join our team for a program that supports a variety of customer IT requirements with a focus on providing productive and collaborative workspace to support dynamic mission requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performs a variety of complex network engineering tasks of an analysis, design, or test nature requiring strong technical skills.
- Design, develop and implement technical solutions in line with project requirements and organizational goals.
- Plans research and development, or installation of products and systems in conformance with network engineering design and customer specification.
- Ensure best practices in engineering processes, coding standards, and testing protocols.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, implementing innovative solutions where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, and reports.
- Solves engineering challenges by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment, and following industry best practice in adherence with customer policies.
- Lead or participate in the following activities:
- Design Review Boards
- Technical code reviews
- Engineering Services and Implementation Support
- Network Engineering Designs
- Network Engineering Template Development
- Network Implementation Standard Operations Procedures
- Project Estimation
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships among customers, stakeholders, technical teams, across the customer base.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to assess customer needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in many aspects of information technology.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office product suite.
- Willingness to travel in the WMA as needed.
- BA/BS and five (5) years of experience, or a combination of education and work experience equivalent to 10 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Ten (10) years’ experience directly related to Network Engineering design, delivery, and management of the customer’s operational environment.
- Proven experience in a technical lead or senior engineering role.
- Strong expertise in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
- Relevant certifications in technical and managerial skills are a plus.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Active and current TS/SCI with polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Must be able to move/traverse within and between buildings and offices.
- Must be able to position self to maintain computers, including under the desks and in the server closet.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- Must be able to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information.
- Resolving technical problems and answering queries by telephone or self-service that involve computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.
