The Role: Tinder is looking for a Sr. Product Designer, Accessibility to lead, inspire and innovate across our entire product experience. This role is responsible for overseeing and driving innovation across our design system and product experiences to ensure Tinder is delightful, useful, intuitive and inclusive, regardless of our users’ abilities. This is an incredibly high impact role and you will have the opportunity to shape how millions of people discover each other, present themselves, and engage in meaningful connections.

As a Sr. Product Designer for Accessibility, you'll own and drive our accessibility strategy and implementation across all customer experience touch-points. You’ll partner with a cross-functional team to identify new opportunities, create and test concepts, and deliver end-to-end solutions that are valuable, scalable, usable, and enjoyed by Tinder’s diverse and global user base.

Where you’ll work: This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration two times per week. This position is located in West Hollywood, and/or San Francisco, California. In this role, you will:

Support and help drive meaningful efforts to improve the accessibility of the user experience across Tinder. Develop tools, guidelines and best practices for ensuring every team can build products that are available, useful and delightful for everyone. Craft highly polished experiences that represent the Tinder brand and product experience through visual comps, wireframes, flows, prototypes, and presentations. Rapidly iterate and refine design concepts from initial briefing through final delivery. Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to identify key design hypotheses and prioritize projects in the short and long term. Communicate design decisions in compelling and creative ways; bridge alignment across Tinder teams through high-fidelity prototypes and live presentations to cross-functional partners. Provide systems thinking for large-scale modular design systems, both strategically and tactically. Build strong relationships with peers across Design, Product, Engineering and Data Science. Comfortable with ambiguity and the unknown using fresh and unique approaches to design problems. Engage in and inspire honest and clear communication, promoting a culture of transparency, empathy, and respect. You’ll need:

5+ years of product design, UI/UX design, visual design, or equivalent experience including 2-3 years in a consumer-facing product design role in the mobile space. An eye for high-quality, well-crafted visual and interaction design, and a passion for UI details. Experience designing inclusive digital experiences across web and mobile software products. Portfolio that demonstrates evidence of launching accessible software at scale in a fast-paced product organization across multiple markets. Motivated to learn new things about complex technology, cultural and demographic nuances, and their impact on various user experiences. Deep organization and execution skills, especially in collaboration with multiple stakeholders and senior leaders, articulating high-level team goals and connecting your work to larger team or company initiatives. Expert presentation and storytelling skills. Experience working with consumer research and data. Experience mentoring junior or early career designers. Proficiency in Figma, including high-fidelity prototyping and working with design systems.
