About the Role

Ravenswood Studio is seeking a Design Detailer to join our talented team. As a Design Detailer, you’ll play a key role in translating ideas into actionable shop drawings and production files that bring our custom creations to life. You’ll work closely with project managers, job leads, and fabricators to deliver creative, cost-effective solutions for a diverse range of projects.


What You'll Do:

  • Create detailed shop drawings for fabrication across various project types.
  • Collaborate in a team-oriented environment to achieve project goals.
  • Translate design intent and technical requirements into precise, actionable drawings.
  • Maintain clear communication with project teams to align on scope and expectations.
  • Produce drawings for custom parts and prepare production files for CNC machining.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (especially 3D), as well as Microsoft and Google Suite tools.
  • Hands-on fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Relevant degree, professional certification, or at least 3 years of detailing experience in industries such as museum exhibit, display, cabinetry/millwork, theater/opera, or themed environments.
  • Strong understanding of custom fabrication materials and methods.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to balance independent work with collaboration.
