As the Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving customer engagement, retention, and satisfaction while ensuring our e-commerce platform runs smoothly. You’ll strategize and execute email/SMS marketing campaigns, flows, oversee the day-to-day e-commerce operations, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize the customer experience.

This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of retention marketing, capable of driving significant growth and customer engagement across all touch points.

What You'll Be Doing

Email Marketing Drive end-to-end development and execution of email and SMS campaigns, including creative build, audience segmentation, QA, deployment, analysis, and monitoring of channel best practices. Plan and manage the email communication calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing initiatives and product launches. Write compelling email copy and design templates that align with brand guidelines and engage customers. Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure consistent, high-quality email content that supports overall marketing efforts. Leverage data to develop additional communication strategies around personalization, segmentation, and triggered campaigns to improve customer engagement, retention, and win back/reactivation rates. Actively manage contact list growth and health to ensure strong deliverability and compliance with best practices. Develop A/B and multivariate tests to continuously optimize creative design, messaging, and campaign performance.

Ecommerce Management Build and publish products in Shopify, ensuring all aspects of PDPs are accurate, conversion-friendly, and aligned with the brand. Merchandise top-performing collections weekly to optimize sales and customer discovery. Pre-launch merchandising: Ensure all new products are placed in relevant collections and categories before launch. Oversee on-site promotions, sales events, and homepage refreshes. Conduct regular site QA: Ensure functionality, mobile responsiveness, and adherence to brand standards.

Collaboration & Cross-functional Work Work collaboratively across Brand Marketing, Content, Design, Merchandising to ensure channel objectives and performance are consistently achieved. Align retention strategies with broader marketing and CX initiatives. Support product launches by ensuring seamless site updates and campaign alignment.

Analytics and Insights Monitor and report on retention and e-commerce performance metrics. Provide actionable insights to improve campaigns and site performance.

Who You Are 3-4 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing roles. Proficiency in Klaviyo (or similar platforms) for email/SMS marketing. Familiarity with Shopify and basic knowledge of website management. Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with A/B and multivariate testing. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
