Our client, a leader in the aviation industry, is seeking a skilled
Product UX/UI Designer
to help deliver innovative and user-friendly digital products, including websites and intranets. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Design:
Translate business and user goals into impactful product and user experience strategies. Execution Excellence:
Utilize your UX/UI design expertise, including interaction design and Figma design systems, to create prototypes and bring designs to life. Collaborative Problem-Solving:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, researchers, engineers, and stakeholders, to deliver innovative solutions. Design Systems Mastery:
Leverage existing patterns effectively and identify opportunities for new concepts to enhance the overall experience. Attention to Detail:
Focus on the finer details of typography, layout, and responsive design while keeping broader strategies in mind. Elevate the Team:
Provide and solicit constructive feedback to maintain and improve the quality of the team's work.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in shipping products and features, with a strong portfolio showcasing interaction design, visual design, and user experience concepts. Design Expertise:
Mastery of Figma (components, variants, prototyping, branching, etc.), with bonus points for experience in motion design. Strategic Thinking:
Proven ability to articulate product strategy, vision, and design systems. User-Centered Design:
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA). Agile Collaboration:
Experience working in scrum/agile environments with developers and researchers. Curiosity and Initiative:
A passion for asking the right questions and driving innovative solutions. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with data analysis and product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Quantum Metric). UX writing or motion design expertise.
Interview Process:
Round 1:
Video screen and portfolio review. Round 2:
Proficiency test and follow-up discussion (video). Round 3:
Panel interview with the full team (video, with potential for onsite).
Additional Details:
Schedule:
Remote or hybrid (no travel required). Hours:
40 per/week Contract Term:
Through 2025, with the potential to extend. Benefits:
