As Social Media Strategist you'll be focused on using social media to create creative content for our audience, improve our relationships with followers, and extend our brand's reach across multiple social platforms and target audience with interest of fashion, luxury, and fine jewelry. You'll play a critical part in our growth and success and have high visibility throughout the organization. The Social Media Strategist will be expected to adjust and help execute delivery of online content in a variety of channels.
This is a full time position.
Responsibilities:
Your daily responsibilities will touch the full marketing lifecycle as it relates to social media, which includes but is not limited to:
- Generating ideas that the marketing team can test and track
- Creating marketing content consistent with our voice, style, and messaging
- Evaluating campaign performance and sharing results/recommendations
- Connecting with followers through DM's, reply to daily comments, answer questions via multiple channels
- Strengthening our relationships with followers and building new ones through influencer marketing
- Create, and design social media assets (images and videos) based on current social media strategy.
- Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok & YouTube on a weekly basis using scheduling tools
- Engage with our community on social media channels and expand our reach by engaging with others on social platforms
- Assist with monthly social media data analytics and reporting
- Source new content ideas, and find influencer partners
- Engage in regular brainstorms with the broader marketing team in order to find new ways to extend the messaging of content across social platforms.
- Report directly to the director of marketing on a daily basis
- Research competitor social media accounts and compare account performance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences
- Knowledge of e-commerce trends and strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite for creating engaging visual content
- Basic photography skills for capturing high-quality images for social media posts
- Familiarity with web analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance
- Experience using social media management tools

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
