Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing fire protection sprinkler systems in compliance with local regulations and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of fire safety principles and the ability to create effective and efficient sprinkler layouts for various building types. Key Responsibilities Design fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes Prepare detailed shop drawings and calculations for submittals Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design accuracy Perform site visits to assess existing conditions and provide solutions Review and approve shop drawings submitted by subcontractors Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations Assist in the preparation of project specifications and documentation

Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in fire sprinkler design Proficient in AutoCAD and fire protection design software is a plus Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Certification from a recognized professional organization (e.g., NICET) is a plus
