Graphic Designer responsible for the creation of web assets, e-mail promotions, packaging, and display materials for consumer products sold through traditional brick and mortar retailer and e-commerce for industry leading manufacturer of arts & crafts products. A visual storyteller that engages, informs, and inspires with a thorough understanding of how to create compelling best-in-class branding and marketing materials. Capable of creating captivating e-commerce campaigns from e-mail blasts to web banners. Ability to create the right style and layout for every project for a wide variety of both electronic and print media including: B2C Social media marketing campaigns E-commerce product display pages, web pages, electronic catalogs Branding, logos, product packaging, point of purchase displays Collaborate, brainstorm, cooperate and strategize with multiple in-house team members to work cross functionally to ideate and complete all work from start to finish Creative Director, Product Managers and Marketing Communications Managers Production Artists, Photographers and Videographers to ideate and execute deliverables to meet deadlines Skills and Abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines is a must Able to multitask various projects at once and meet deadlines Creative mindset to bring a design to life with simple instructions Exceptional experience in branding along with an eye for fonts, colors, shapes, designs, styles, and project layouts Patience to send creative through multiple approval processes Self-starter with strong time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and meet deadlines Attention to detail to ensure that specifications are met and free of errors Exceptional listening and communication skills to foster great team working relationships Qualifications Portfolio with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional graphic design business working on consumer products Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design or art Up-to-date technical skills – Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop Experience working with photographers on styling for lifestyle and tabletop shots
