We are looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineering Intern or Co-op for our User Experience Innovation division beginning in the Summer or Fall of 2025. We are seeking a student with an interest in innovative technology and developing responsive user-facing applications with React, TypeScript, Python, and similar technologies. You will be working in a small agile group, to deliver, test, and ship software. In this role, you will quickly become a contributing member of our research and development team. Our interns contribute to real projects to get a sense of what it is like to work as a full-time Software Engineer. Day-to-day, you could be working on: Designing and developing custom interfaces Contributing to our component library and application ecosystem Collaborating with our government partners and military stakeholders Developing and implementing AI models Supporting customer needs via live demos and technical explanations Working on a variety of innovative projects Collaborating on intern challenge problems How you will make a positive impact: Develop responsive user-facing applications with modern languages and tools such as TypeScript, React, and Vite Gain technical experience from one-on-one mentorship, feedback on pull requests, collaborative system design sessions, test-driven development, and more Learn about program management and work with internal team members to understand project goals and how to translate those goals into technical requirements To be successful in this role with us, you'll need: Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate-level degree in Computer Science or related field. Postdoc candidates will be considered.
