Keystone Engineering is currently seeking experienced Civil/Structural Designers to join our Lafayette team. Position Type: Full Time Location: Lafayette, LA Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required Essential Functions: Responsible for the constructability, operability, and maintainability of project designs. Carry out site surveys, gather information per job scope (with or without client), and walk down drawings to recognize tie points, field routing piping, tray, supports, etc. Work closely with Lead Designers and Engineering teams to complete project deliverables. Develop design configurations associated with various systems applicable to the project scope. Provide comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design development. Prepare detailed design drawings in accordance with engineering design requirements and project deliverables. Maintain and organize a Job Data Book containing all pertinent information used during the design phase of the project. Review drawings regularly for completeness, quality, and adherence to standards. Ensure all drawings are properly checked and backchecked for accuracy. Prepare and/or direct the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal as part of project deliverables. Maintain awareness of project schedules, budgets, and timelines. Assist with project audits when required. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 5 - 20 years working experience Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D - grading and plan/profiles Experience with AutoCAD Advance Steel Field / Walk-down experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate Attention to detail Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer. Preferred: Associates degree in CAD Previous O & G experience Advance Steel Software
