Supporting Regional Design Teams and Collaborating to Deliver Solutions
As a Harmon Design Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to leverage your industry knowledge and educational experience as a member of an elite team of curtain wall design professionals. Seated in your local operations office, you will provide technical support to your regional internal sales and operations teams during the proposal, design assist and critical production phases of the project. You will also interact and collaborate with the project design team to develop solutions that meet the contractor's schedule, the owner's budget, and the architect's vision.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Your contributions to the team
Your top priorities are to ensure complete and timely delivery of all technical proposal documents to the preconstruction sales team for inclusion in a project proposal and support the operations team during the preconstruction phase of the project for your region.
Manage design development and the design assist process for your region
Lead a team of designers and hold them accountable for accuracy and timeliness
Take ownership of the region-specific design documents and act as the technical lead on the preconstruction team
Support our regional operations team on all technical aspects of the project
EXPERIENCE
Associates or bachelor's degree in a construction related field such as architecture, engineering, drafting, design, or project management.
Minimum of 10 years curtain wall industry experience in engineering, drafting or project management
Experience with system design, testing standards & procedures, fabrication & assembly techniques, and field installation procedures preferred
