We are hiring a Social Content Creator to join our award-winning internal agency team called "The Pulse." You will be responsible for creating trending social video content to help grow our brands' presence on Instagram and TikTok. Brainstorm around social and/or pop culture trends, write, produce, and edit video footage for multiple projects. The ideal candidate is a social creative that has a passion for content conceptualization and creation with strong understanding of technology to manage the creation of content for digital formats. You will engage with Social Media Content Managers to build engaging material that meets the brands social needs. You will constantly have a pulse on the latest TikTok trends and social platforms, with a natural curiosity about what is starting to trend and the ability to move at the speed of culture to seamlessly integrate it into best-in-class content for our brands.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new creative, highly engaging video content to grow brand TikTok and Instagram accounts.
- Film, edit and produce an average of 3-5 social videos per week in alignment with brand strategy and relevant social media trends.
- Ability to create content tailored for different brands and different social channels.
- Meet with social media content manager bi-weekly to review content, discuss ideas, trends, and social strategy.
- Participate in strategic brainstorming sessions with social, brand and agency teams
- Ideate original content for brand social and digital channels, utilizing current social trends on TikTok and Instagram and making it relevant for their brands
- Create content within brand guidelines, but know where to push the boundaries
- Edit your videos and photos to be "post ready" for the social team
- Prop sourcing, location scouting and talent recruiting
- Willingness to travel, 15%
- Occasionally attend live brand events to capture content on the spot for social purposes and allow brand to "go live" on social at events.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Content Creator, preferably for CPG, food, or beverage brands.
- Experience with social media trends on various platforms (TikTok, Instagram) and can creatively assess how to incorporate brands into those trends
- Experience with using an iPhone and a DSLR camera to create and edit content in various settings (you will ONLY be creating content, not posting, or managing content on their socials)
- Portfolio that demonstrates the successful creation of innovative and engaging content
- Proficient in CapCut, or similar video editing software, Adobe Express or Canva. Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Davinci, Insta360 would be nice to have!
- Photography skills and comfortable being on camera occasionally is a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $66,000 - $110,000 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance. The salary range represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Education: Bachelor's degree with related course work preferred.
Years of Related Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Content Creator, preferably for CPG, food, or beverage brands
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Social media/content creation experience, with an emphasis on short-form video content. Experience and knowledge of TikTok/Reels, including filming, editing, social platform features, and relevant trends. Ability to produce quick-turn, high volume content for both video and photos for social media. Creative, innovative personality who is passionate about digital storytelling and community building. Proficient in CapCut, or similar video editing software, Adobe Express or Canva. Nice to have experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Davinci, Insta360. Keeps up with social media trends on various platforms (TikTok, Instagram) and can creatively assess how incorporate our brands into those trends. Someone who is not afraid of using an iPhone and a DSLR camera to create and edit content in various settings (you will ONLY be creating content, not posting or managing content on their socials). Portfolio that demonstrates the successful creation of innovative and engaging content. Willing to travel and shoot content for social at key brand events. Experience with food prepping, food styling, propping and shooting recipe content. Experience or interest in animation / motion graphics. Comfortable being on camera occasionally.
