Job Summary: This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the INSIGHT team responsible for the strategic planning, content strategy, development, and execution of the annual "INSIGHT" user conference and regional roadshow "INSIGHT Xtras". This marquee event, attended by 3,000 to 6,000 participants from around the globe, is pivotal in elevating the company's brand presence and driving significant audience engagement and prospect activation. The event gathers customers, prospects, strategic hyperscaler partners, integration partners, event sponsors, industry analysts, media representatives, government officials, and employees, making it a critical touchpoint for the company's global outreach and influence. This position will play a key role in bringing to life NetApp's Intelligent Data Infrastructure mission: "NetApp-enabled Intelligent Data Infrastructure to turn a world of disruption into opportunities for every customer". Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior leadership to establish a shared vision and strategic goals for the event Develop a clear strategic vision aligned with company objectives Set measurable goals for attendance, engagement, lead generation, and ROI Work with internal stakeholders to develop a comprehensive content strategy for proprietary events Identify and develop key messages, themes, and topics that resonate with the target audience Collaborate with subject matter experts and teams to effectively communicate the company's brand message Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, coordinating alignment on event objectives Lead cross-functional planning meetings, fostering collaboration and engagement Drive partner ecosystem engagement with strategic partners and sponsors Develop a detailed event budget, optimize costs, and oversee procurement Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including program curation and timeline management Secure a suitable venue and manage venue-related tasks Work closely with sales and marketing teams to implement onsite engagement strategies Lead and manage a team responsible for event logistics, technology, content, and communication Provide guidance, mentorship, and support professional development for the team Conduct a comprehensive post-event debrief and analyze feedback for improvement Analyze event metrics to measure impact against predefined goals Utilize insights to drive continuous improvement in future events Job Requirements: Event Leadership: Over 15 years of experience leading large-scale events, managing content strategy, and handling logistics Strategic Thinking: Proficient in developing and executing a strategic vision for events that align with business and marketing goals Content Strategy & Management: Skilled in creating and implementing content strategies, including presentations, videos, white papers, and case studies Project Management: Strong in leading complex projects from start to finish, with keen attention to detail Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, adept at public speaking and presentations Creativity & Innovation: Capable of designing engaging event experiences and incorporating latest event technologies Problem Solving & Adaptability: Proven problem-solving skills, able to anticipate challenges and adapt in a fast-paced environment Budget Management: Expertise in managing and optimizing large budgets and vendor relations Stakeholder Management: Proven experience engaging high-level stakeholders and coordinating with cross-functional teams Event Management Software: Proficient in platforms like RainFocus, Cvent, Eventbase, Asana, Trello, Monday.com CRM & Marketing Automation: Familiar with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong analytical skills, able to analyze event data and generate insightful reports Travel: Willing and able to travel as needed for business engagements Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, Communications, or related field Advanced Degree - MBA or Master's in Marketing, Event Management, or related discipline highly desirable Compensation: The target salary range for this position is $197K - $294K. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
