POSITION OVERVIEW: Our client, a prominent brand in the full-service dine-in and fast fine industry, is seeking a talented and innovative
Senior Manager, Marketing & Promotions
to join their marketing team. This position is critical in shaping strategic marketing plans, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving sales growth through new product launches and promotional initiatives. The Senior Manager will oversee the marketing calendar from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams and seamless implementation at the unit level.
JOB DUTIES: mark Collaborate with the EVP of Marketing to develop and refine short- and long-term menu strategies, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders on initiatives such as tests, product deletions, and national launches. Oversee the development and management of the Brand Marketing Calendar, coordinating national, regional, and local promotions. Lead strategic menu development by making product recommendations, planning strategies, and ensuring key stakeholder alignment on menu management initiatives such as tests, deletions, and national product launches. Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to drive marketing strategies and decision-making. Partner with the Culinary and Analytics teams to create and optimize the innovation pipeline, assessing product performance and making data-driven recommendations. Oversee cross-functional collaborations, ensuring smooth commercialization of initiatives involving Operations, Supply Chain, Training, and Insights teams. Evaluate the ongoing performance of the menu across channels (including in-restaurant and digital platforms) to identify opportunities for optimization. Supervise and develop the marketing team, guiding to ensure overall team success.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in brand marketing, with a strong preference for candidates with restaurant industry experience. Strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and creative problem-solving skills. Data-driven decision-making and a growth-oriented mindset. Strong understanding of commercialization processes and campaign execution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint. Effective cross-functional collaboration skills with a focus on achieving business objectives. Project management expertise with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Relevant experience in CPG marketing or the restaurant industry, particularly in fast-casual or QSR, or experience working closely with restaurant advertising agencies Genuine enthusiasm for food and exceptional customer experiences. Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervising and developing team members. Proven ability to work as a team player with cross-functional experience in either a corporate or agency environment. Ability to travel up to 15% annually, including store openings and marketing events.
