Job Title: Sr. Associate, Programmatic Media


Short Job Description

The Paid Media Team within this enterprise financial company serves as an internal agency partnering with our brands to build and execute comprehensive media campaigns inclusive of programmatic media buys. This role sits within the Programmatic Buying Team which purchases biddable media across a variety of digital channels such as display, online video, CTV, audio, digital out-of-home, and television.


Job Summary

As the Sr. Associate, Programmatic Media, working with our Line of Business partners, you will be responsible for managing the campaign execution and optimization of the programmatic components of marketing campaigns. You will work closely with our brands to create and execute thoughtful, high-performing programmatic approaches that exceed performance expectations whether branding or ROI-driven.


Job Responsibilities

  • Create programmatic buying recommendations that address the business objectives of our brands
  • Campaign creation and optimization within our preferred buying platforms (DSPs) across all self-serve programmatic channels (Display, Video, Audio, dOOH, Native, etc.)
  • Own operational tasks including budget management, creative trafficking, budget reconciliation, and post campaign analysis
  • Maintain and create ad hoc reports to identify opportunities for campaign improvement and keep stakeholders informed of performance
  • Work with partners internally and externally to troubleshoot and implement solutions as required to enable efficient campaign delivery and performance
  • Develop and evolve skillsets to keep up with the changing media buying landscape, inclusive of new partners, ad tech, and measurement capabilities
  • Keep internal teams educated on the capabilities of programmatic and innovations that can be utilized within their paid marketing efforts


Required Qualifications

  • 3-8 years of Programmatic Media Buying and Trading experience
  • Hands on experience buying in DSPs (demand-side platforms) or similar bidding ad technology
  • High competency level in MS Office with specific strengths in Excel and PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within Financial Services industry a plus
  • Experience in the following DSPs: DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Vistar, Xandr
  • Proficient in advertising technology platforms and tools including Ad Servers, Site Analytics, Tag Management, Ad Verification, Attribution and Measurement
  • Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills
  • Bachelor's degree; concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred
  • Able to work independently and balance multiple tasks
