As a Content Strategist at Showpad, you will report into the brand marketing team’s Senior Creative Director. You will join Showpad’s brand team — the company’s story engine — and be responsible for ideating, writing, and editing content alongside a global team of designers, web developers, freelance writers, and cross-functional collaborators to support the marketing team’s goals of increasing customer engagement, raising brand awareness, and building pipeline with prospects. Talented, driven, and curious, you will contribute engaging content at every stage of development — from brainstorming concepts, crafting outlines, presenting ideas, writing and editing drafts, implementing feedback, all the way to launch. Your writing work will educate, engage, and nurture prospects and customers while positioning Showpad as a leader in sales enablement software throughout the entire marketing funnel. Key Responsibilities Conceptualizing and executing polished, compelling, user-centric content work across digital and physical mediums, including:
Seller outreach sequences Product release campaign elements Customer success stories / case studies Executive / employee contributor articles Sales enablement content for Showpad’s global revenue team
Managing and prioritizing multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. Developing and maintaining a consistent brand voice across all materials, ensuring that Showpad’s brand message is effectively communicated to each target audience. Collaborating with cross-functional teams — including product marketing, sales enablement, sales, and people operations — to understand project requirements and developing content solutions that align with the company’s brand guidelines and the department’s objectives. Maintaining a thorough understanding of Showpad’s ICP to craft copy that resonates and drives engagement with our customers and prospects. Project-managing freelance writers, including deadlines, contracts, critiques, and payments, where required. Proactively bringing ideas and intel to the entire brand team to share ideas and inform the editorial calendar and content strategy. Required Skills and Qualifications 4-6 years working in content marketing, communications, or business journalism. Proficiency in copy, CMS, and project management software — including Google Suite, WordPress, Asana, and Dropbox — with a strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. Proficiency in basic content principles (grammar, spelling, punctuation, headlines, CTAs, scannability, clarity) and the ability to develop and maintain a consistent brand voice. Proven experience in copywriting, content creation, and copy editing for a variety of target audiences. Proven experience in managing content projects from concept to execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and objectives and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to think creatively and develop innovative content solutions that align with business objectives. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high-quality writing work. Proficient written communication and verbal presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate copy concepts and ideas to both internal and external stakeholders. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a global, fast-paced environment. Portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of quality content across various mediums. Additional Skills Experience working in a content function in a corporate environment or enterprise software company is a plus. Experience with web traffic metrics a plus.
