US Communications Lead

to join

our U.S. Immunology team , based in our US Headquarters office in

Atlanta, Georgia . About the role UCB's U.S. communications team is committed to growing awareness of UCB and our commitment to patient value with internal and external stakeholders through effective communications and public relations strategies. This role is responsible for supporting the Immunology Communications Lead in executing internal and external communications in support of the U.S. Immunology business unit. Who you'll work with In close collaboration with the U.S. Immunology Communications Lead, the senior manager will develop and execute strategic internal communications to enable effective ways of working within U.S. Immunology and their stakeholders. Additionally, this role will work together with the Communications Lead to execute U.S. external communications for UCB's immunology products (dermatology, rheumatology) and pipeline. To deliver, the senior manager will collaborate across corporate communications core functions (digital, internal, external, community engagement, public affairs, and neurology) to ensure alignment and successful engagement of key audiences. What you'll do Supports the Communications Lead in development and implementation of external and internal communications. Contributes to the development of product communications across product indications, including data/milestones, regulatory milestones, and patient/consumer storytelling. Contributes to the development of internal communications plans and execution for U.S. Immunology, including newsflashes, town halls, brand milestone updates, and executive talking points. Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders (globally and locally) to help develop and drive communications and enable our Patient Value Strategy and support both UCB and brand objectives. Leverages effective social media strategies to support overall communications approach and brand objectives. Works with vendors and creative agencies to support U.S. Immunology communications to ensure effective use of allocated resources. Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills: 6 to 10 years of experience in Brand Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Digital/Social Media Communications, and/or related field required. Agency or corporate in-house experience and pharma/biotech experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Solutions-oriented problem solver, with demonstrated ability to bring together cross-functional stakeholders and build consensus on strategies among peers and across different reporting structures. High degree of professional versatility and hands-on capability with an ability to meet challenges consistently and confidently with energy, drive, and personal commitment. Strong writing skills required with experience managing day-to-day execution of content on multiple channels. Strategic thinker able to develop and execute communications plans to achieve business goals and deliver results. Entrepreneurial spirit, insatiable curiosity, and an established track record of hard work and dedication to results. This position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $121,900 - $160,000. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience, and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
