Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a Program Manager/Public Affairs/Strategic Communications to provide OCPA Operations Support, Communication Research, Analysis and Evaluation, Communication Planning, Communication Product Development, Army Outreach Support, Professional Development and Training, Exhibit Management, and Executive Communication Support. The Office of the Chief of Public Affairs (OCPA) is responsible for fulfilling the Army's obligation to keep the American people and the Army informed and helps to establish the conditions that lead to confidence in America's Army and its readiness to conduct operations in peacetime, conflict and war. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to: Provide support to OCPA Operations and Process contractors and establish common operating procedures. Advise and assist the OCPA’s divisions with primary and secondary research to inform communication approaches and planning across the full spectrum of media and community outreach activities. Integrate the planning and coordination of designated public affairs and communication programs across multiple media and disciplines. Provide program level communication support and develop communication plans. Analyze and define needed communication, including collection/review and evaluation/assessment of feedback. Develop and produce a wide variety of customized communication media products. Manage the Public Affairs Portal. Provide planning and assessment support for the Army Outreach efforts. Support Army Public Affairs Professional Development Forums. Support Pentagon exhibits, including designing and producing displays. Provide slide visualization, animation, graphics, audio and video editing and production assistance. Develop and submit a program progress report. Required Qualifications: Must have a Master’s degree. Must have 15 years of demonstrated professional experience with 5 years of continuous experience at the strategic level. Must have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Must be fluent in the English language. Must possess demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Power Point, and Excel. Clearance:
Must be able to pass a background check. Secret security clearance or higher is preferred.
