Vice President, Entertainment and Fan Experience Status:
Full-time
Summary: The Entertainment and Fan Experience team is responsible for the oversight and execution of all live entertainment & event/game broadcast productions for events including Miami Dolphins home games and special events, international soccer events, Miami Open tennis tournament, F1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix and other major events held each year at Hard Rock Stadium. This person would work in coordination with multiple internal departments to execute the full vision of all live entertainment at Hard Rock Stadium and special events hosted by the organization.
Location: This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities: Act as primary showcaller for Miami Dolphins home games and Hard Rock Stadium international soccer matches. Oversee the live entertainment production, content creation, and scripting for all Dolphins events, home games, and the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. Produce and manage the Miami Open tournament select live elements and LED board show both in-stadium and on campus. Collaborate closely with Broadcast Operations and I.T. on technical system upgrades related to improving the fan experience and home field advantage. Foster cross-departmental partnership and ensure the maintenance of effective communication and cooperative relationships across organizational functions. Liaise with the various sporting governing bodies, TV broadcast and event partners/promoters. Maintain beneficial relationships with new and existing vendors, contractors, and part-time event staff. Exercise a strategic, forward-thinking, and innovation-focused mindset to drive the overall entertainment value for the fan.
Qualifications:
4-year collegiate degree in Broadcasting, Communications, PR, or Journalism or substantial experience producing live events and writing scripts. 4+ years leadership experience in live event production (preferably sports). 2+ years acting as a primary showcaller for the NFL or a major college conference (Football specifically). Be a collaborative, passionate, results-oriented person who wants to make a difference. Ability to prioritize, mediate and cope with rapid change and be comfortable with problem solving while maintaining calm under pressure. Be an excellent communicator across different media and have strong interpersonal skills managing across multi-functional/international internal and external teams. Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic company. Knowledge of the National Football League, its rules and regulations, and the game of football. Knowledge of standard major broadcast control room equipment and operations. A forward-thinking and innovation-focused mindset. A passion for music and an understanding of how music plays a key role in the live event experience.
