Job Description - Corporate Communication Specialist (240003ED) The Corporate Communications Specialist will assist in the development and execution of employee and business communication plans and activities to further Children's mission, vision, and strategic plan. Will also write, develop, disseminate and edit multiple forms of communication content and activities for Children's employees. Qualifications

Minimum Work Experience 2 years Communications experience (strongly preferred) (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge Basic project and time management skills. Able to take direction and demonstrate attention to detail, initiative and follow-through on a variety of projects. A self-starter who can manage projects and work within tight timeframes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including AP Style. Knowledge of MS Office and basic design programs. Functional Accountabilities

Planning and Project Management Develop and execute communication strategy and measure success. With direction, develop strategic and effective communication messages and plans. Maintain editorial calendar of content. Use tools to measure and monitor the effectiveness of communication initiatives. Assist to monitor industry trends and best practices. Internal News Service Develop and execute internal communication materials/tactics. With direction, plan, create, write, edit, proof and publish a variety of content, such as articles, intranet content, email, human interest stories, videos, photo galleries, business articles, collateral, talking points, and other communications. Write clear, compelling prose in different styles, voices, and tones to most effectively communicate to multiple audiences. Provide compelling content that is timely and impactful to more than 6,500 employees. Consultant/Executive Communication Serve as a communication consultant/liaison to organization stakeholders. Coordinate the development and implementation of Internal Communication strategy for a variety of departments. With direction, support key areas in the development of communication plans and tactics. Channels/Intranet Utilize a variety of channels to effectively communicate news. Utilize a variety of communication channels, such as Intranet, publications, video, photo galleries, etc., to engage and inform employees. Support team in crisis communication management. Coordinate logistics and communication of special events.
