Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Marketing will develop a strategic marketing vision and execution plan to drive brand awareness, reach, relevance, and impact to achieve AccuWeather's objectives of growth and visibility globally.
The Head of Marketing will oversee all marketing activities, including advertising, promotional campaigns, branding strategies, public relations, event marketing, social media, and CRM programs. This role will collaborate with the Executive Team to develop consistent messaging and training to enhance sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Develop cohesive marketing strategies for US and international execution across sales and marketing channels. Partner with Business Development to build growth platforms based on user insights and data. Leverage marketing mix to drive customer acquisition and retention. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive successful new product launches. Manage vendors and agencies and coordinate with internal staff functions. Develop plans for international expansion and growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a similar field; MBA preferred. Experience growing a brand and maximizing revenue. Strong creative insight and leadership skills. Proven ability to influence executives. Hands-on leader with a willingness to engage in details. Deep understanding of Digital Media. Experience building high-performing teams. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Pay Transparency:
State College, PA:
$200,000 - $210,000 + annual bonus opportunity
New York, NY:
$245,000 - $255,000 + annual bonus opportunity
