We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Brand and Content Marketing Manager to lead our brand strategy and content marketing efforts. This role is critical in driving brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty through compelling content and strategic brand initiatives, aligned with business objectives. This role will oversee the creation and distribution of compelling content across all channels to engage our target audience, build brand awareness, and drive customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, creative storyteller, and a data-driven marketer with a proven track record of building and scaling brand and content marketing programs, and intellectual property (IP) management, including trademarks. Description of Essential Job Functions Brand Strategy and Management: Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with company goals and values. Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all channels. Conduct market research to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to enhance brand perception. Content Marketing Leadership: Lead the content marketing team in creating high-quality, engaging, and relevant content for various platforms, including website, social media, blogs, email campaigns, and more. Develop content strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions. Ensure content is optimized for SEO and aligns with overall marketing and business objectives. Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice, tone, and messaging. Campaign Development and Execution: Plan and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote brand awareness and drive customer acquisition and retention. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed. Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently. Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing brand and content, creative design marketing team. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture. Provide guidance and support for team members' professional growth and development. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product, market development, scientific affairs, sales, and customer success teams to ensure brand and content marketing efforts align with business objectives. Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and influencers to amplify brand reach and impact. Provide guidance and support to regional marketing teams to adapt global brand strategies to local markets. Trademark Management and Intellectual Property (IP): Manage the company's trademark portfolio, ensuring all trademarks are properly registered and renewed. Work closely with the legal department and/or outside counsel to monitor and enforce the company’s intellectual property rights. Develop and implement strategies to protect and leverage the company’s trademarks and other IP assets across the globe. Performance Measurement and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of brand and content marketing initiatives. Prepare and present regular reports on key metrics and ROI to senior leadership. Continuously refine strategies based on performance data and industry best practices. Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seek guidance as necessary. Actively support and participate in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). Carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner. Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner. May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, brand management, and content marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience in managing trademarks and intellectual property is highly desirable.
