Director, Event Audience Development

We are seeking a high-energy, well-connected, and detail-oriented Senior Director of Brand Development to join our small but mighty events team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind filling our VIP event audiences with senior decision-makers from top brands, publishers, agencies, and more.
How you’ll spend your time:
- Continuously identifying, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with potential VIP attendees through proactive outreach and research.
- Collaborating with internal teams to define and refine target audience profiles for each event.
- Sending personalized invitations to approved nominees and tracking RSVPs to ensure event goals are met.
- Working closely with marketing, audience development, and sales teams to maximize attendee acquisition and engagement.
- Traveling to and working onsite at events to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a seamless attendee experience.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in event-related audience development
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with industry leaders
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An understanding of and deep familiarity with the media and marketing industries.
