Job Purpose:

The purpose of the UX Designer is to advocate for the user, ensuring our digital experiences are a pleasure to interact with. The UX Designer will design and test highly engaging user interfaces for our consumer facing digital platforms.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals
• Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively
• UX Designers may also be required to perform user testing and analysis, identify and resolve usability issues
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users
• Assist in maintaining and contributing to the design system
• Stay up-to-date with UX trends and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-centered designs
• Work cooperatively with others
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Maintain regular, punctual and reliable attendance and availability

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• A portfolio showcasing design process, problem-solving skills, and creativity
• Basic proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
• A user-centered mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
• The ability to work in a team alongside professionals with different areas of expertise
• Ability to think creatively
• Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of the HVAC industry is preferred
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by company driver policies

Travel Requirement:

• 25% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
