Marketing Assistant Overview:
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team at Liberty Group, a wealth management, tax planning, and estate law firm. This role is instrumental in executing various marketing initiatives, with a significant focus on event coordination. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to campaigns that enhance client engagement and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination:
    • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing client and prospect-facing events, including seminars, webinars, networking events, and appreciation gatherings.
    • Help manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, invitations, RSVPs, and day-of-event support.
    • Track event budgets and ensure all deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
  • Marketing Campaigns:
    • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email, social media, direct mail, and digital advertising.
    • Help write, edit, and proofread marketing materials to align with the firm’s branding and tone.
    • Monitor and report on campaign performance metrics, providing recommendations for optimization.
  • Content Management:
    • May assist with creating and scheduling content for social media platforms, email newsletters, blogs, executive thought leadership, podcasts, internal communications, and other content marketing initiatives.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to produce high-quality marketing materials.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain and organize marketing databases, client lists, and event records.
    • Assist in managing vendor relationships and processing invoices.
    • Support the marketing team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed, which may include general project management, company reputation management, center of influence relationship building/local networking, and market research.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or a similar role (experience in financial services is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software — Salesforce
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Five days a week in the office with a possible hybrid schedule after 90 days.
  • Night availability is required Monday through Thursday to attend events, and you must have a car.
  • Part-time position: 20 hours/week.

Requires being exact or highly accurate, meeting strict deadlines, and working with others in a group or team. Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
