Job Description
QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Multimedia Developer (Specialist) to join the team at Fort Cavazos, TX, in support of our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics (PM IS&A).
Duties:
- Develop training for Military Intelligence systems IAW AR 350-1 and TRADOC Regulations 350-70.
- Develop training materials according to the ADDIE model: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate.
- Develop/maintain/update instructor-led courses, multimedia assets, web-based training, and digital training support materials.
- Generate captivating graphics, videos, animations, and interactive elements that enhance student engagement and the learning process.
- Create engaging eLearning modules, courses, and training materials using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Apply current trends in digital media and education technology to training development.
- Work closely with instructional designers, developers, and project managers to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
- Create help videos, quick reference guides, and other materials as needed to support the user in maintaining proficiency.
- Conduct quality control reviews on training content before delivery.
- Foster a positive relationship within the PM & PdM, as well as vendors, software engineers, and outside stakeholders.
- Attend various meetings related to the software/hardware development cycle and help to identify “friction” points that may affect the ability to train it.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Ability to integrate multimedia into various stages of training development efforts; to include video, audio, narrations, graphics, and text formats.
- Proficiency in industry standard multimedia design software, with emphasis on the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, Audition) or other relevant tools.
- Demonstrative creative and visual storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand modernized intelligence systems in support of multimedia production efforts.
- Comfortably provide and receive candid, constructive feedback on work products, including direct and unvarnished critiques.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS, or HTML5.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems.
Required Clearance & Other:
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
- Applicants will be required to provide a portfolio of their own creative productions; this portfolio will be used as a component of the interview process. Failure to provide a portfolio may result in disqualification of consideration for the position.
- Qualifications:
- Associate degree in commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position required.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of related work experience is required. Online course development experience a plus.
- Four (4) additional years related work experience may be substituted for education.
Travel:
Up to 25% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces located at Fort Cavazos, TX.

Physical demands of this position include the ability to:
- Be independently mobile.
- Communicate effectively in English with co-workers and customers.
- Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
- Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
- Lift/push/pull objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
- Withstand exposure to noise from operating equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for fully qualified candidates for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
