Immediate hire for Assistant Manager/Community Manager

This will be a TEMP-TO-HIRE opportunity to create the best experience for prospective and future residents, lead on-site teams to reach occupancy goals and develop loyal relationships with service providers, property owners, and residents. They are responsible for effectively managing the financial performance of the property. MUST HAVE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities may include:

• Day-to-day operations and management of employees

• Enforce company policies and community rules with consistency and fairness

• Maintain stable occupancy and meet budgeted financial goals

• Meet financial objectives with rent collection, forecasting, annual budget preparation, maintaining annual budget, analyzing budgets and needs, initiating corrections

• Develop resident retention plans

• Develop marketing strategies to increase traffic

• Implement strategies to meet monthly revenue goals

• Prepare reports about: property performance, data summaries, trends

• Post ads and plan or participate in open houses

• Monitor rental collections, occupancy rates, move-ins, and move-outs

• Monitor community appearance and oversee repair needs

Investigate/resolve complaints, enforce community rules, inspect vacant units and request repairs, plan renovations, contract with 3rd party vendors, such as landscaping, pest control, and maintenance

• Coach team members specific to department and role

• Build strong resident relations and provide excellent customer service

• Respond to resident complaints, concerns, and requests

• Supervise and train on-site staff

 

EXPERIENCE

Ideal candidates should possess a dynamic personality with an ability to interact and connect with all different personalities. Extraordinary communication skills coupled with a confident approach are critical to this role. A can-do spirit with proven reliability and experience is required.

Requirements:

· Professional appearance

· HUD 

· Proven ability to be prompt and on time every day

· Outgoing, self-motivated, and highly RELIABLE

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manner

· Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision

· Office skills: customer service, typing, clerical, MS Office, telephone

· Friendly, outgoing, and display a positive, upbeat attitude

· Self-motivated individuals who are excellent multi-taskers and HIGHLY reliable excel in this role

· Fair Housing Laws, Health and Safety issues

· Knowledge of property management software such as YARDI, and CRM is a plus

· 1-2 years as an assistant/property manager
