About the Job:

The associate media planner will be involved in all stages of the media planning process, from initial research and strategy development to execution and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in both programmatic digital and traditional media planning and buying, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients. You'll be tasked with ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both programmatic digital and traditional media planning and buying, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients. You'll be tasked with ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Media Planning & Execution: Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive media strategies across digital and traditional platforms, including programmatic media buys.

  • Campaign Management: Oversee day-to-day management of media campaigns, ensuring they run smoothly and are optimized for performance.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal teams and media partners to ensure campaigns are launched effectively and meet performance targets.

  • Campaign Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, identifying opportunities for optimization.

  • Media Partner Coordination: Manage scheduling and communication with existing and prospective media partners.

  • Research & Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve campaign performance.

  • Quality Assurance: Apply quality assurance principles to ensure that all campaigns are delivered as planned and troubleshoot issues as they arise.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in digital and/or traditional media planning within an advertising agency, media company, or client-side role.

  • Media Buying Expertise: Experience with programmatic media buying across platforms like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, and X.

  • Campaign Management: Strong background in media planning, negotiation, implementation, and performance analysis. Experience with print and radio is a plus.

  • Research Tools: familiarity with research tools such as ComScore, MRI, Nielsen, and other industry-standard resources.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Keynote, and Google Suite, as well as familiarity with ad-serving technology (experience with tools like DCM, The Trade Desk, etc. is a plus).

  • Communication Skills: exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and campaign results clearly and persuasively.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Agency Experience: Previous agency experience is preferred.
