The successful candidate will assist with various tasks related to media outreach, content creation, event coordination, and administrative duties to ensure the efficient functioning of the PR department.
Key Responsibilities
- Press Releases & Content Creation: Support in drafting and editing press releases, blog posts, and other media materials to ensure consistency with brand messaging.
- Event Coordination: Help organize and coordinate PR events such as press conferences, media briefings, product launches, and corporate events.
- Research & Reporting: Conduct research on industry trends, media coverage, and competitor activities. Assist with reporting on PR campaigns' effectiveness.
- Administrative Support: Maintain media contact lists, update databases, and perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing emails, and organizing documents.
- Crisis Communication: Assist in monitoring and responding to any negative press or media inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all communications and PR activities reflect the company’s brand image and voice.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of PR and media relations.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and social media management tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
