Head of Marketing Are you a visionary marketer with a passion for building brands? Do you have the expertise to launch and scale an independent beer brand in a competitive market? MacGregor Black is partnering with an Independent Beer Brand on the search for a Head of Marketing . This is a permanent position that can be based in any major city in the United States, with a strong preference for Chicago, Illinois . Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the brands vision and growth objectives across North America. Drive brand awareness and consumer engagement through innovative campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, traditional media, and experiential marketing. Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships, particularly in the sports sector, to enhance brand visibility and connect with target audiences. Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment of marketing efforts with sales goals. Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies. Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging that reflects the brand's heritage and values while appealing to the U.S. consumer. Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives. What are we looking for? A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the beverage industry, particularly beer. Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive brand growth and consumer loyalty. Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a focus on digital marketing and social media strategies. Strong ability to build and manage partnerships, especially in the sports sector, to enhance brand presence and engage consumers. Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed marketing decisions. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing and developing marketing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for storytelling and brand messaging.
