Full Time Volunteer Coordinator - Columbus Public Library Job at Chattahoochee V

The Chattahoochee Valley Libraries seeks qualified applicants for the position of Volunteer Coordinator. This position is a system-wide responsibility. The successful candidate will recruit and train all volunteers and coordinate their efforts in support of the library programs and services. This position acts as a liaison to the Muscogee County Friends of Libraries to organize book sales and donations, among other library programs and events. This position reports to the Community Engagement Department and represents the library with other volunteer agencies within the community, for the purpose of recruiting volunteers.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.

Equivalency: 3-5 years of supervision or close work with volunteers.

Salary:$37,673 / year
