About the Company

Our client, a high end retailer for sustainable lighting products, is looking for a visual designer to join the team on an extendable contract basis in their head office in Conshohocken, PA. This is a hybrid role.

You will:

• Lead the design and development of visually engaging and impactful design solutions across various digital platforms, including social, web, mobile, and software.
• Collaborate with the Photo/Video Team.
• Create compelling motion graphics and animations that enhance user experiences and convey complex ideas in an intuitive manner, mostly for marketing purposes.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to ensure design consistency and alignment with project goals.
• Develop and maintain design guidelines and standards to ensure a cohesive visual identity. Update and codify the motion design elements of the brand.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in visual and motion design.
• Provide guidance to peers and junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.

You have:

• 5+ years of experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both static and motion design work.
• Proficiency in design software Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and motion graphics tools (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender, Houdini, etc).
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Experience in creating UI/UX designs is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality work.
