IN PERSON POSITION - Full Time
We're seeking a full-time Designer to join our Design Team. The Design Team is responsible for various creative aspects of the Moglea brand. Applicants should have a design-focused educational background with a knowledge of programs like Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Experience with video and social media is a plus. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, designing engaging email campaigns, editing images, assisting in planning and producing social media content, and shooting video footage. Our Design Team also assists our creative directors with designing new products for the Moglea line. Our Design Team also plans and coordinates marketing efforts for the brand. We’re looking for someone who is organized, flexible, and ready to bring fresh ideas to the Moglea brand.
Our Company:
Moglea was launched in 2012 and is under the creative direction of Chad and Meg Gleason. Their artful stationery and product line is created by using hand-applied production processes to add one-of-a-kind elements to each product. The production team in their Des Moines, Iowa-based studio thoughtfully applies layers of paint to extra thick sheets of paper before cutting them down, yielding completely unique compositions. Each piece is finished on one of their antique presses where it is foil stamped, printed or die cut using traditional letterpress printing processes.
The Moglea line is a joyful exploration of composition, pattern and color. For each new release, Chad and Meg intentionally focus on adding unexpected production processes or visual ideas to the current collection. The result is a product line in which each piece feels like a work of art that is meant to be shared.
The Moglea line is sold worldwide, with placement in over 1000 stores. The line has been sold nationwide by retailers such as Anthropologie, West Elm, CB2, Nordstrom and Blick Art Materials.
Our Values
Sincerity: We speak honestly and from our heart. We believe in caring personally and challenging directly as a means to improve performance when working together. We share our own stories and extend space for others to share theirs. We truly think this is the best and only way we can continue to grow as a team and company.
Accountability: We embrace mistakes and learn together. We listen, observe, and gather information that brings us closer to understanding our team. We take responsibility for mistakes and create solutions for how to improve.

Adaptive Tenacity: We passionately commit to our goals and stick to that commitment with a spirit of open-hearted and earnest striving and life-long learning. We are growth-minded and ask that all employees continue to grow and adapt to the growth of our company. Taking ownership means we are accountable for the results of our actions and that they are executed with the highest quality and in a timely manner.
