Audio Visual Field Service Engineer

Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing leader in the Audio-Visual Solutions industry, is seeking an AV Field Service Engineer to service their corporate clients; you wil be based out of their Mechanicsburg, PA office.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, re-installation and maintenance of electronic audio/visual equipment, installing and servicing the systems in the most efficient and effective manner to assure minimum down time and maximum performance.
• Communicating system performance to the customer and to the Service Department or Installation Department.
• Assist the Technical Operations team in performing installation and system commissioning work as needed.
• Clear communication, documentation and organization of paperwork, tools and the company vehicle are a necessary function of the position.
• Travel to client sites as well as occasional out-of-town travel may be required.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Field Commissioning of AV Systems and other Engineering related duties.
• The final commissioning of audio-visual equipment, including, but not limited to audio DSPs, CODECs, switchers, control systems, VTC systems, and video processors.
• Create user guides and train end users on how to use their A/V control systems.
• Refine current processes, develop a better workflow, and make recommendations.
• Work closely with the Technical Operations team, the Installation Manager and the Manager of AV Integration while assuring a professional and safe working environment.
• Other duties as required or assigned by company management.
