Sales and Marketing Analyst

Essential Job Functions:Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.Conduct price analysis to evaluate current pricing strategies and their effectiveness.Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to set competitive prices based on market research, competitor analysis, and internal data.Develop a series of KPIs and automated dashboards that provide actionable data analytics to the team.Serve as the source and knowledge base expert on revenue and profitability, providing insights that guide strategic decisions.Partner with the sales team to help educate team members on their performance metrics and data interpretations.Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track sales performance metrics and pricing impacts.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales and pricing strategies.Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimize sales processes and pricing models.Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes by providing accurate sales projections.Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.Continuously monitor data quality and ensure data integrity across systems.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education:Bachelor's degree in business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.Experience: Minimum 5 years:Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a sales or marketing environment in support of a manufacturing business.Experience partnering with a sales team to provide sales analytics and insightsExperience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) PreferredFamiliarity with statistical analysis and modeling techniques. Knowledge of data visualization best practices.Experience in an entrepreneurial environment.Skills and Abilities:Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Computer Skills:Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).Expert-level skills in Excel, including the ability to write Visual Basic code for automation.PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION IN RENO .
