Summary: Promote and sell Cavotec radio remote control products, services and engineering capabilities for customization with OEM candidates. Work to develop regional (Americas) and core accounts (Global or Strategic) Collect market and account intelligence. Achieve sales targets in the assigned area following the Regional Sales Director/Global Products VP guidelines Identify new business opportunities Grow sales within the designated territory by working new and existing sales opportunities, continually seeking opportunities to nurture and establish long-term relationships, increase customer satisfaction and identify and develop target accounts. Identify up-selling and cross-selling new sales opportunities within existing key accounts
Responsibilities: Achieve business KPIs as per Regional Sales Director & Global Product VP guidelines Meet assigned annual budget regional targets for Sales Volume (Order Intake), Profitability (Contribution Margin) and strategic objectives Manage and develop strong and long-lasting relationships with existing and new customers to facilitate business delivery Provide technical and commercial support to existing customers Read and analyse technical and commercial tender documentation Prepare technical and commercial offer documentation Support the fulfilment team in project managing high value contracts; self-manage highly valuable OEM contracts. Articulate technology, product features, and benefits to both business and technical users Identify all the relevant technical issues to insure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process Understand and articulate to customers/prospects the competitive advantages/differentiation feature of Cavotec technology vs competitors. Develop relationships with our manufacturing organization and engineering team to capture and translate voice of customer feedback and market trends, so we can craft the most optimum solutions for our customers. Negotiate with customers regarding price, schedule, terms and conditions and other commercial issues. Create operating agreements for key accounts including Stocking agreements, Production agreements and Engineering Support. Regularly update the CRM (Salesforce) with leads, customer information / insights, funnel, and opportunity information. Utilize the CRM system to provide insight on successful sales techniques, market intelligence, lead generation and target markets/customers. Work with the Global Product VP to recommend new product development ideas / equipment demonstration concepts.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering (Electronics, Electrical preferred) At least 3-5 years experience in sales of radio remote controls or industrial controls At least 8 years experience in industrial controls/automation Relevant experience in a similar position Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Proficient with Salesforce (desirable) Fluent in English (reading, written and spoken); Spanish (desirable but not mandatory) Customer service orientation
Candidate can be based in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan - as long as it's close to an airport of national coverage.
