Marketing and Sales Assistant Summary:
As a Marketing and Sales Assistant, you will be assisting our events team in seeing events from conception through to completion. You'll be working directly at our pop-up events for one of our many clients, helping spread awareness and register new customers.
Marketing and Sales Assistant responsibilities include sparking conversations, distributing marketing materials, and providing outstanding customer service whilst working directly with existing and potential supporters to increase our clients exposure and funding.
Some of your main duties will involve:
All new starters receive training and ongoing support. In-house product training workshops are offered regularly, and on-site coaching is provided during events. We also provide networking contacts and access to digital calls, and regional seminars to upskill our team members throughout the year.

- Assisting with the set up of promotional events, campaigns, and strategies
- Assisting event managers with creative ideas to make our events stand out
- Creating and maintaining relationships with customers
- Provide information about the charities missions, values, and vision
- Supporting potential donors through the donation setup
- Share success stories and marketing material to customers at the event
- Conduct pre-and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes

- You'll also need to be authorized to work in the USA as we're not in a position to provide sponsorship to overseas applicants.
- Although experience as an events assistant isn't required, it does help if applicants have at least one year's worth of experience working with customers face-to-face or have done volunteer work, community projects, or something similar involving engaging in conversation with the general public.
