Content Strategy Communications Director – Hybrid Job Category: Marketing and Communications
As an integral member of the Marketing Communications leadership team, the Director of Content Strategy & Communications will be responsible for the strategy and development of a wide variety of content targeted to both internal and external audiences. This person will work with the senior leadership team, including the CEO, to develop platforms, produce communications, and help prepare leaders for keynote speeches, panel interviews, and other speaking events. The ideal candidate demonstrates creativity, initiative, adaptability, and the ability to quickly learn the business and operate within a complex and dynamic environment.
Salary Range: $140,000-170,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Work Location: This role will require work out of our Madison, WI headquarters; first consideration will be individuals located near Madison, Wisconsin to take advantage of hybrid collaboration. We will consider individuals in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota.

Content Creation: Spearhead the development and supervision of diverse internal communications content, ensuring alignment with our editorial guidelines and amplifying our key initiatives.
Strategic Communications Planning: Lead and collaborate with the internal team to craft, manage, and execute strategic communication plans.
Stakeholder Relationship Management: Serve as an internal communication liaison with assigned internal stakeholders and senior leaders.
Enhancing Employee Engagement: Proactively identify and implement initiatives to bolster employee engagement and morale.
Multimedia Content Production: Produce compelling content across various mediums to maintain a consistent and engaging narrative.
Communication Analytics: Monitor and evaluate the impact of internal communication strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to craft and disseminate strategic communications.
Consistency in Communication: Guarantee the consistency of messaging and editorial guidelines across all platforms.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, English, or a related field.
7 or more years of experience in digital content development.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience with communication tools.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Results-oriented and attentive to detail.
Experience working in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
10 or more years in internal communications or related areas.
10 or more years in communications leadership roles.
Experience with change management and employee engagement.
Proficient in project planning and analyzing data.
Strong interpersonal skills and technical proficiency in communication technologies.
Hybrid Work Requirements:
High speed cable or fiber internet.
Minimum of 10 Mbps downstream and at least 1 Mbps upstream internet connection.
