Job Summary

The Public Relations Assistant supports the public relations team in building and maintaining a positive public image for the organization or its clients. This role involves assisting with the development and implementation of PR strategies, creating content, coordinating events, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Media Relations

    • Assist in drafting press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
    • Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.
    • Monitor and respond to media inquiries in a timely manner.
  2. Event Coordination

    • Assist in planning and executing press events, product launches, and other promotional activities.
    • Coordinate logistics, invitations, and follow-up communications for events.
  3. Monitoring and Reporting

    • Track media coverage and compile reports to evaluate PR campaign effectiveness.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for outreach.
  4. Administrative Support

    • Manage schedules, appointments, and correspondence for the PR team.
    • Organize and maintain PR-related documents, files, and resources.
Qualifications
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
