Job Summary

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Web Developer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.

Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our engineers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we're doing wrong, so we can fix it, and what we're doing right, so we can improve on it. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of web applications using JQuery React JS CSS3 Node js and HTML 5.
  • Oversee the implementation of technical solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope objectives and deliverables.
  • Ensure the scalability performance and security of web applications.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Professional Experience / Qualifications:
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in JQuery React JS CSS3 Node js and HTML 5.
  • Possess strong technical skills in JQuery React JS CSS3 Node js and HTML 5.
  • Have experience in IT business support which is a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills in English both written and spoken.
  • Show the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
  • Display a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Certifications Required
  • Certified Web Developer React JS Certification Node.js Certification
