We’re seeking a passionate Technical Writer who will play a pivotal role in supporting our Rapid Innovation Center (The RIC), specializing in crafting concise and compelling artifacts to support the infusion of our solutions and capabilities into current and emerging customer environments. This role demands hands-on involvement, creative thinking, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders across multiple, cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Review, write, and edit technical writing, presentations, briefings, white papers, quad charts, and other deliverables produce by project team members.
- Interview program managers and other technical personnel to collect technical and methodology information and subsequently incorporate that information into writing solid technical deliverables.
- Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other teammates.
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
- Create and analyze compliance matrices as well as guidelines for deliverable and proposal evaluation.
- Support the capture and proposal process by researching and gathering technical information for use in proposal development activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members including product, HCD, engineering, and data science leaders to capture and document comprehensive agile solutions that enable the analysis, design, development and operation of enterprise systems and services.
- Support the development of narrative responses to market surveys, RFIs, RFPs, and white papers to present our solution as a winning value proposition.
- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), CTO and technical leads, and partners to refine and improve solutions, ensuring they align with client needs and our strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and the business development department to strategize, write, and develop proposals that drive business growth and meet the needs of our government clients.
- Write clear, persuasive documentation that translates technical and other ideas into easily understandable text.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, industry partners, and decision-makers to optimize IT governance and decision-making processes, adapting as the business context and technological landscape evolve.
- Stay updated on emerging digital and business trends. Collaborate with other business leaders to integrate digital opportunities into our business strategy, ensuring we remain at the forefront of technological advancements.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in English, Mass Communications, or a technical discipline. With ten years of professional experience and at least four years of specialized experience, a degree is not required.
- Extensive experience writing and editing technical documentation.
- Experience developing written artifacts for government customers or GovCon industry partners.
- Experience generating complete responses to RFPs, RFIs, and Market Surveys / Sources Sought Notices.
- Experience collaborating with customers and stakeholders to present solutions to the user/stakeholder community and gain user adoption
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven capability in proposal writing and development for government agencies.
- Due to the nature of our customers, candidates are required to hold US Citizenship.
Desired Qualifications:
- Cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Engineering DevSecOps and/or SAFe Certifications
Work Environment:
eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager.
Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 25% per year.
