JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Creative & Print Services will lead a creative team in the development and execution of response-driven marketing materials for both ecommerce and print advertising channels. In this position you will manage a talented and highly productive team of Creative Managers, Web and Print Designers, Copywriters, Editors and Project Managers in day-to-day production operations supporting 5 unique retail brands.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide strategic creative leadership and direction for a cross-functional team responsible for developing advertising materials from concept through final execution ensuring brand consistency across all existing and emerging brands. Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising partners across the organization to deliver innovative design that drives response and achieves company goals Ensure that all creative work is compelling and consistently adheres to the established brand standards across both web and print channels Develop annual catalog and website asset production schedules and manage priorities throughout the year supporting Marketing's advertising directives Manage and respond to business changes and pivots throughout the year ensuring that deadlines are met without sacrificing creative quality standards Foster and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with Merchandising, Marketing and Credit departments Provide strong leadership and on-going coaching, professional development, and career-pathing opportunities for the team Strive for continual process improvement by leveraging technology and automation Stay current with design and creative trends Drive continuous development and testing of brand style guides Support print manufacturing duties with all printer partners involved in the direct-mail programs Photography studio management and scheduling Effectively manage and coordinate design projects with outside vendors when necessary Manage freelance and intern labor support when necessary Recruit and retain a talent pool that is diverse and exhibits a great sense of drive and ambition Conduct annual reviews and provide ongoing individual performance feedback Support company budgeting and forecasting functions pertaining to the Creative Services department EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing or related field OR relevant work experience 7+ years of creative team leadership with a proven ability to deliver high quality creative while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team to develop high quality digital and Direct-Mail marketing materials that deliver an overall great customer experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Extensive direct marketing background with an emphasis on creative design (web and print) and print production Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and develop multi-channel creative teams Strong strategic thinking, collaboration, communication and negotiation skills Proven ability to execute brand vision to drive response through a deep understanding of each brand's core customers Proficiency with Adobe Suites including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Proficiency with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and HTML/JavaScript programming Business and marketing acumen in an e-commerce environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work is generally sedentary, in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. May require physical effort associated with using the computer to access information, or occasional standing, walking, lifting needed to carry out everyday activities.
