Expeditor

The Expeditor will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of goods and services by monitoring and expediting orders throughout the procurement process. Role specific responsibilities: Track and monitor the status of purchase orders and work orders to ensure timely delivery Communicate regularly with suppliers/vendors to obtain updates on order progress Identify potential delays or discrepancies and take proactive measures to mitigate risks Liaise between internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to facilitate smooth order flow Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to expedite urgent orders or resolve issues impacting delivery schedules Follow up on outstanding orders and expedite delivery as needed to meet project deadlines or customer requirements Maintain accurate records of order status, shipping information, and delivery schedules Identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks in the procurement process Work Experience Required : Manufacturing planning, inventory management and purchasing experience. Skills & Knowledge Required : Excellent communication skills, works well with all levels of associates Results driven with emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments Consistently demonstrates highest level of personal ethical conduct. Strong analytical skills, bias for action, and strong problem solving skills Proven procurement and negotiation skills Basic computer knowledges with MS Office SAP experience a plus Team based work philosophy
