Your Impact
- Strategic Planning
- Identify key business challenges and opportunities by partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define clear problem statements related to marketing strategy
- Create outcome-focused strategic roadmaps with clearly defined success metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives in addressing business challenges
- Partners closely with Customer Insights to be well versed in customer behavior and conducts patterning research to stay current on trends and competitive landscape (Regularly revisit and refine strategies based on evolving business needs, customer insights, and market trends to continuously solve for the right outcomes)
- Operational Excellence & Outcome-Oriented Initiative Implementation
- Translate problem statements into actionable, data-driven marketing plans, working with cross-functional teams (digital, CRM, brand, finance) to achieve targeted results
- Lead the execution of long-term strategic marketing initiatives with a focus on delivering specific, measurable outcomes such as improved customer acquisition, enhanced loyalty, or increased market share
- Implement marketing workflow systems and processes that focus on achieving measurable business results, allowing for more efficient execution of complex, long-term plans
- Regularly assess the progress of marketing initiatives against pre-defined outcomes and adjust strategies as needed to ensure the intended results are achieved
- Define success not only through the completion of projects but by measuring the impact of initiatives on solving key business challenges and improving marketing performance
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with finance, IT, product, and other departments to ensure marketing strategies are integrated across the organization
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within the marketing team to ensure consistency and synergy across channels and campaigns and ensure all initiatives are designed with clear problem-solving and outcome-based goals in mind
- Lead regular cross-functional planning and alignment sessions to ensure that all teams are working toward the same outcomes and can contribute to the solution of the identified business problems
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously seek opportunities to refine marketing strategies and processes to enhance effectiveness and better solve evolving business challenges
- Champion a culture of innovation within the marketing team, encouraging the use of creative problem-solving techniques to deliver better outcomes
- Data - Driven Decision Making
- Leverage data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and operations
- Team Leadership & Development
- You'll be asked to manage and provide thought partnership to both your team of marketing professionals but also lead matrixed with those cross functional collaborations to deliver the desired marketing objectives
- Develop your team, providing guidance, goal setting and performance evaluations
- Adaptability and Learning Agility: willingness and ability to adapt to change and to lead through change. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Relationship Building: build and maintain strong relationship with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders with a focus on delivering results that align with broader business objectives

Influence by presenting implications and recommendations rather than just data and facts basing recommendations on sound principles with the ability to frame challenges and outcomes in a way that drives team alignment and action
- Communication: clear written and verbal communication from a customer-centric perspective. Tailoring messages and materials in an audience-appropriate manner

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, strategy, or a related role, preferably in retail. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
