The successful candidate will be responsible for managing internal and external communications, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely dissemination of information. This role is critical in enhancing our organization's brand, reputation, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication Management: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining communication strategies across multiple channels (email, social media, press releases, newsletters, etc.).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for external stakeholders, handling inquiries and providing clear and consistent information.
- Crisis Communication: Help manage and respond to media inquiries during crisis situations, ensuring accurate and transparent communication.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with media contacts, pitch story ideas, and manage media interviews.
- Internal Communication: Assist in creating internal communications to keep employees informed of organizational updates, events, and initiatives.
- Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of events, including press conferences, meetings, or promotional activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Proficient in content management systems and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
