This is an incentive-based position, which may include bonuses, incentive, or commission plans. Responsibilities: Maintains and/or improves upon the occupancy level and revenue production of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans. Develops and maintains relationships with and generates leads through residents, family, and professional referral sources. Plans, coordinates, and implements monthly prospect and/or referral source activities and events. Partners with Regional Sales management to develop and execute marketing plans and achieve community occupancy goals. Supervises the activities of at least two Full-time Equivalent (FTE) Marketing Coordinator(s) and/or Sales Counselor(s). Closes sales by assisting prospective residents and their families in the decision-making process. Responds promptly to inquiries from all referral sources and prospective residents. Utilizes sales processes, systems, and forms to track information and achieve occupancy goals. Completes outside Business Development sales calls to meet established goals. Develops and maintains relationships with referral sources, providing information and conducting presentations. Monitors conversion ratios regarding Business Development calls and prepares reports. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education required. A minimum of five years sales experience, preferably in the retirement industry or medical/pharmaceutical sales. Valid driver's license required for frequent car travel. Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Ability to effectively manage time, tasks, and projects in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Requires frequent interaction with co-workers, residents, or vendors.
