Position Summary:

The Communications and Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in promoting the mission, services, and programs of Saban Community Clinic. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic communcations and marketing initiatives to increase community awareness, foster engagement with patients, donors and external partners, and enhance the clinic's reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conceptualizes, develops, and implements communications, internal/external campaigns and marketing programs to improve visibility with various target audiences (patients, donors and employees). Manages the website; including writing and editing content, approving content and overseeing the maintenance of the website. Responsible for overseeing, directing and maintaining all social media channels. This includes, creating/curating content, developing a comprehensive, annual social media marketing plan and organically growing Saban's presence across platforms (increase response to events and donation campaigns). Utilizes desktop publishing software to create content for newsletters, brochures, other print and media materials, ensuring compliance and consistency with Clinic editorial standards. Manages publication of all print materials; reviews and approves designs; writes copy for newsletters, press releases, promotional items, digital signage, printed signage, and other documents; approves all copy before publication. Works closely with outside graphic designers, printers, mail house and other services; ensures outside services meet quality standards, schedules and approved budgets. Works with other departments to develop and produce communication materials. In partnership with development department staff, conceptualize and implement marketing and communications plans to further fundraising goals. Assist Human Resources on company-culture related projects and The HUB (intranet). In collaboration with the Donor Relations & Marketing Coordinator, effectively manages the internal marketing request system and delegates other projects as needed to Coordinator. Assist with Clinic and Friends events as needed. Participate in, and possibly oversee company days of service Work to establish productive and lucrative relationships with "business" neighbors at four Clinic locations Play a key role in events related to the opening of the new health center (marketing, logistics, PR and event production) Act as the "brand ambassador", ensuring brand consistency and messaging to patients, staff and donors at all Clinic locations. Performs related duties as assigned by Chief Advancement Officer. Position Requirements:

Undergraduate degree preferably in marketing or non-profit management preferred 3-5 years of experience with marketing practices within a non-profit preferred Ability to build relationships and network with companies, community leaders, orgs, etc.. Excellent oral and written communication skills Extremely high-level of attention to detail Skilled eye for modern design and ability to design collateral following a complex visual system Bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish are preferable. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, desktop publishing (Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Premier and social media required). Exceptional ability for project management and coordination with capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to successfully work independently and remotely in a hybrid environment. 2 days a week in-office. A people-person with the ability to build strong/positive internal working relationships and maintain cross-organizational communication. Demonstrated ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimum supervision; to maintain quality control standards; to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
