What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Oversee $1.5 - $2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel - Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects while working with top executives - Generate business revenue within existing clients and identify new business opportunities - Manage, mentor, and develop staff, conducting performance reviews and setting objectives - Represent the employer and key clients at industry events and conferences
What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field - Minimum 15 years of experience in communications with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity - Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors - Extensive writing and editing experience with various print and online communications media - Demonstrated experience in managing a comprehensive strategic communications program
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns - Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into action plans - Experience in setting up measurement programs for communications activities - Strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills - Proven ability to make decisions in a changing environment
