What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Oversee $1.5 - 2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel - Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects while working with top executives - Generate business revenue within existing clients by expanding the scope of work - Manage, mentor, and develop staff, conducting annual performance reviews - Represent the employer and key clients at high-level industry events and conferences
What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field - Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity - Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for media placements - Extensive writing and editing experience across various print and online media - Demonstrated leadership in managing comprehensive strategic communications and marketing programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns - Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans - Experience in setting up measurement programs for communications activities - Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills - Ability to anticipate future needs in a changing environment
